I believe in Guileless People
To be without guile is the opposite of being hypocritical. A guileless person wins my trust and gains my confidence. I really admire and believe in such people. It does not matter what their religion or philosophical ideas are, as long as they are truly authentic and consistent in their practice.
I praise and love those Catholics, Protestants, Jews and Moslems who really follow the truth and charity contained in their Faith and are not afraid to stand up for what they believe. Catholics who obey their proper spiritual authorities and fight against immorality such as abortion, contraception, and homo-eroticism have my respect and trust. Protestants who are loving, generous and forgiving and Jews who are merciful, kind and pure inspire my friendship and belief in them. Moslems who are humble, good, and respectful of another's life, beliefs, freedom, and culture can be also included in my list of trust.
I do not believe in nor will I ever accept false, cowardly, hypocritical politicians who claim to be Catholics, but vote in favor of the death of the innocent. I do not believe in nor accept Catholic journalists who belong to religious prayer groups, but publish articles defending homo-psycho-genital exploitation of others. death mills and manipulation of dead or live baby parts. I do not believe in a Catholic deacon whose wife is an employee of an abortion clinic. I do not believe in clergymen who promoted pro-abortion Democrats against the order of their higher superiors (do we tolerate that sort of disobedience in military circles?) I do not believe in Protestants who swindle and cheat others nor in Jews who promote pornographic films and untruthful soap operas. I certainly do not accept Moslems who kill in the name of God. These are people whose souls are full of guile.
Jesus praised Nathaniel for being a man without guile and saw him as good material for being an apostle. It was not the same for Judas. His guile was disaster for the whole company of Apostles. Jesus said "Oh if you were either hot or cold, but being lukewarm, I spit you out of my mouth!" Paul, the persecutor of the Church, was more acceptable to Jesus than Judas had been. At least, he had no guile in his blinded, unguided zeal. Jesus can do things with qualities, but falseness is useless to Him. It serves only to be trodden underfoot by all.
